Warranty Policy
At Keychron UK, our warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
All products purchased directly from Keychron UK through keychron.uk are covered by our 24-month warranty for customers in the UK and Europe.
Nothing in this policy limits, replaces, or reduces any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Who This Policy Applies To
This warranty policy applies only to products purchased directly from Keychron UK through keychron.uk.
We cannot handle, accept, or decline warranty claims for products purchased through other websites, marketplaces, retailers, or sales channels. If your product was not ordered from Keychron UK, you will usually need to contact the seller or support team you purchased from.
If you are unsure who to contact, you can email support@keychron.uk and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
Our Warranty Period
All products purchased directly from Keychron UK are covered by our 24-month warranty for customers in the UK and Europe.
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights. It does not replace, limit, or reduce any rights you may have under applicable law.
Your Statutory Rights in the UK
If you purchased from Keychron UK in the UK, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this warranty.
If goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy. In some cases this can include a short-term right to reject within 30 days. After that, the usual remedies are repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not possible, is unsuccessful, or cannot be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.
Additional Rights for EU Customers
If you purchased from Keychron UK and are based in an EU country, your local statutory consumer rights are also not affected by this warranty.
Under EU consumer rules, you benefit from a minimum 2-year legal guarantee from the date you receive the goods. If the goods are faulty or do not conform to the contract, the seller must provide a repair or replacement at no cost. If that is not possible, or cannot be done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.
What Our 24-Month Warranty Covers
Our 24-month warranty covers manufacturing defects and product faults that arise during normal intended use during the warranty period.
Where a valid claim is accepted, we will assess the most appropriate remedy based on the issue, the product, stock availability, and your legal rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include troubleshooting support, repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
Investigation and Evidence Before Approving a Warranty Return
Before we approve a warranty return or issue a prepaid return label, we may ask you to provide reasonable supporting information so we can properly assess the claim.
This may include:
- your order number or proof of purchase
- photos showing the issue
- video showing the fault in use
- a clear description of the problem
- confirmation of any troubleshooting steps already taken
This process helps us establish whether the issue is a genuine product fault, a setup or compatibility issue, a firmware or software issue, accidental damage, or user error. It also helps us resolve valid claims faster and may avoid unnecessary returns.
If you do not provide the supporting information we reasonably request, we may not be able to approve a prepaid return label at that stage because we may be unable to properly assess the validity of the claim.
You can still continue with the claim by returning the product to us for inspection, but the return cost may need to be paid by you initially until a decision has been made on the claim.
If, after assessment or inspection, we confirm that the claim is valid and covered, we will reimburse reasonable return postage and provide the appropriate remedy.
If the product is found not to be faulty, or the issue is caused by setup, compatibility, configuration, firmware, software, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear, or user error, we may decline the warranty claim. In those cases, return postage may not be reimbursed, and the cost of sending the item back to you may be your responsibility.
Nothing in this investigation process affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
What Is Not Covered by Our Commercial Warranty
Our commercial warranty does not cover:
- accidental damage
- misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper care
- damage caused by liquids, impact, improper storage, or other external causes
- issues caused by setup, compatibility, software, firmware, or configuration rather than a product fault
- unauthorised modification or repair
- cosmetic wear and tear that does not affect functionality
- normal wear through use
- faults caused by user error
These exclusions apply to our commercial warranty only. They do not remove any statutory rights you may have where goods are faulty, misdescribed, or not durable as required by law.
Repair, Replacement, Refund, and Other Remedies
Where a claim is valid, we will decide the appropriate remedy based on the nature of the fault, the age of the product, stock availability, and your legal rights.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- troubleshooting support
- repair
- replacement
- replacement with an equivalent model if the original is no longer available
- refund or price reduction where required by law or appropriate after assessment
Proof of Purchase
We may ask you to provide proof that the product was purchased from Keychron UK. This could include your order confirmation, receipt, invoice, or other reasonable evidence of purchase.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To start a warranty claim for an order placed with Keychron UK, please contact support@keychron.uk with:
- your order number
- your full name
- the product name and model
- a description of the issue
- clear photos or video where relevant
Please do not return any item until our support team has reviewed the case and confirmed the next steps.
Change of Mind and Cancellation Rights
This page covers faults and warranty claims only.
If you want to return an item because you have changed your mind, please refer to our Returns Policy. For most online purchases, UK cancellation rules allow consumers 14 days from receiving the goods to cancel, and then another 14 days to send them back. Refunds for valid cancellations must usually be made within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or earlier if proof of return is provided. Consumers may inspect goods as they would in a shop, but deductions may be made if the item has been used or damaged beyond that level of inspection.
