Keychron's Mac Layout
Keychron is one of the few mechanical keyboards that features macOS media keys (F1 to F12) in a Mac layout with the same as conventional Mac systems.
Keychron K5 SE Ultra-Slim Wireless Mechanical Keyboard
Prelubed switches, screw in stabilizers..what more can u ask
It.s really heavy and yea..it has the THOCC
Feels like 3 times more expensive than it is.
Cons: zero, nada, nein
Best switches iv owned for thock by far
Delivery was prompt, and keyboard arrived in good order. Super-easy to set up and love the brown keys! Thank you, Keychron!
K3 Brown switches, small, quiet, tactile, and fast, works with both my Mac & PC kit, packs into a bag easily for work and home, comes with alternate key caps and pullers. Good battery life, wireless connection, flexible operation with the cable too. Really pleased with this keyboard.
I purchased the K8 Pro roughly 1 month ago and have since spent that time using it to create an informative review. I've used mechanical keyboards for around a decade now but to no great depth really, mostly the overpriced gaming brands as well as Das - always with brown switches.
The K8 Pro is a game changer. It's well priced and delivers far higher quality, extensibility and customization than any other that I've used. The frame is nice and heavy, well built and very durable. The keys are smooth, with each keypress being absorbed nicely. There is no wobble on the edges of the spacebar, like many other mechanical keyboards seem to suffer from. Bluetooth supports 3 devies which is perfect as I work from home with a company laptop, so it's easy to switch betwen my PC and work laptop.
My only criticism is in the switches on the side, particularly the power switch. Currently the options are, in order, BLUETOOTH - OFF - CABLE. A more appropriate configuration would have been OFF - BLUETOOTH - CABLE. It is far too easy to get stuck in dance, if you will, with the power switch when trying to turn off the keyboard. That is, if you're in BLUETOOTH mode and wish to switch it off, you may very well push too far and land in CABLE mode. Then, if you try to go from CABLE to OFF, you might end up in BLUETOOTH mode again. The grip on the switch isn't great but I'll not knock a star off for that as it's not a conscious decision that Keychron have made. Obviously, limitations with the switch will be the issue here, since the top and bottom positions will close the circuit while the middle position (OFF) opens it, it's an ON-OFF-ON switch. I don't know if there are any switches with OFF-ON-ON positions.
Nonetheless, aside from that minor niggle, this is a really powerful, customizable and well built keyboard. I will stick with Keychron for the foreseeable future.
Bought this for my first custom keyboard. Used gateron reds with some raiden shogun double shot pbt keycaps and lubed the switches too. Honestly love the keyboard and the keychron q6 board has participated heavily to the sound of said keyboard, its weight keeps the keyboard from ever moving, doesn't feel cheap at all as expected, loved the reprogramming keys feature on via. Overall worth the money for good quality
Just right for me! Good quality, nice height, nice sound. First mechanical keyboard, big upgrade from the Magic Keyboard from apple
love the keyboard, first time buying Keychron, always wanted it but wanted to wait for the correct version. i got the K3 Wireless keyboard version2. light keys, quite, small and compact, 80% keyboard does what i need when i travel into work as i dont want to take large keyboards whilst traveling. the Bluetooth is amazing believe its bluetooth version 5.2 with instant connection onces turned on. easy to remove key caps to remove UK ones. really can't fault it. just feels amazing and defo recommend it an it looks so beautiful. also i haven't got a case because the box already has production pads inside so that's also really good. i didn't get the RBG version as i dont like multi colours as the white light is good enough for me. uses usb to charge and not battery even better. and you can use cable mode or wireless. and the wireless has really good reaction time as well and no delay and miss registered key input. amazing.
Shipped carefully and quickly. Perfect condition on arrival. A truly well made keyboard that's a pleasure to type on! Highly recommended! If you're looking for a mechanical low profile keyboard, this is hard to beat. The only thing to note is that, due to non-standard support placements, the keycaps are not easily replaced and so custom caps would need to be printed yourself. The keycaps supplied are top notch though, so I doubt that many would have an issue. 10/10
This is my first high quality keyboard! I came from membrane keyboards but and wow this one is great! I got the Red switches and the sound is very satisfying. Build quality is amazing and the keycaps also feel great. Everything feels 110%.
I'd recommend to get the wrist rest with this keyboard. It's a little high and really needs a wrist rest to elevate your wrist.
Compared with my old (and much cheaper) generic mechanical keyboard, the Q3 is an absolute delight to type on - it feels silky and at the same time solid. And the fact that it weight an absolute ton (!) helps it stay resolutely in place on my desk while I work, instead of gradually moving around. The layout was also easy to configure to my preference, including a better backlight scheme (plain, static white!). Works well with both Windows and Linux.
Amazing customer service and good tracking app enjoyed the experience and will definitely look forward to buying more products in the future
Really enjoying the keyboard!
Stylish and comfort.
