Signature Keychron Features
Wireless & Wired
Connect the keyboard with up to 3 devices via Bluetooth or to a single device with the USB Type-C wired option. Pair it up with your smartphone, laptop and iPad, and switch amongst the devices swiftly, that is best for home, office and light gaming uses.
Keychron's Mac Layout
Keychron is one of the few mechanical keyboards that features macOS media keys (F1 to F12) in a Mac layout with the same as conventional Mac systems.
A different level of quality. 2.3kg of keyboard, a light feel and a nice poppy sound from banana switches without interfering with conference calls while taking notes. Simple to customise keys and macros. Not inexpensive but definitely worth that much more than the mainstream brands.
Overall very handy and looks great
Everything about this keyboard is very good off the bat. It is pretty easy to reconfigure on the fly and the bluetooth works pretty well so far. The key caps you get with this keyboard are very high quality and dense which really helps with that thocky feel. Although I haven’t used unorthodox methods to mod the keyboard, it sounds spectacular. I’m currently using this keyboard with Gazzew Boba U4Tx silent tactile switches and it feels incredibly satisfying and thocky while surprisingly silent.
The stabilisers come very visibly pre-lubed and it is very easy to lube if the need ever arises by using stabiliser lube and taking off their respective keycaps to reveal the sides of the stabiliser’s wire.
If you’re not into hotswapping and spending your whole net worth on switches and keycaps, this keyboard is for you; the Keychron red switches I selected are also fairly nice to type on and are lubed to an extent.
All in all, pretty solid keyboard for its price and I definitely have no regrets purchasing it.
Love it 🥰
Keychron K3 Ultra-slim Wireless Mechanical Keyboard (UK ISO Layout) - Version 2
My first mechanical keyboard. Feels very premium. Great typing experience. I wonder which model I should get next...
I had to wait a while for delivery but the the Q2 pro was worth the wait. The finish on the metal is excellent with a nice texture. It is solid and a joy to use. Has all the keys you really need day to day.
I really like the new case. I have to bring in my laptop and keyboard to work each day and I can't use those £5 keyboards from Argos, well I could but I don't want to. So I bring in a V6 in a case. The case protects the keyboard in transit and works really well. It is sturdy, well constructed and good looking for a case. It fits the board very tightly which is perfect and does not shake loose or rattle. A quality case for around £30 nice.
Keychron Keyboard Wooden Palm Rest
This is my first higher end customizable keyboard and i have to say if you are looking for a great out of the box keyboard this was very good. Switches are nicely lubed(you could re lube them yourself for even better experience). Another PRO is that it is very easily customizable, it took me (a beginner) 15 minutes to do a tape mod and add some extra foam to it. It comes with all the tools for taking it apart. Overall great keayboard i would recommend it to anyone looking for a good all around 80% keyboard.
Amazing quality - exceeded my expectations
Keychron Q6 Pro QMK/VIA Wireless Custom Mechanical Keyboard ISO Layout Collection
Great product and great service
I bought this keyboard after using a huge logitech black lump of plastic for a decade. I bought RGB version with the brown switches as I wasn't sure what to go for, and I love them. Have also upgraded some of the keys to mint for more of a tactile press. It is a joy to type on, looks cool, takes up a fraction of my deskspace, has a tonne of cool lighting functions. My only gripe is that keychron don't include some extra sample switches so I can understand the difference between the different colour switches better. Will definitely be being another low-profile keyboard from them again in future. It was a surprise to me how much I liked it, as I was just buying a new keyboard, but seriously the best purchase I have in a long time. Wish I'd done it sooner.
I had been using a very noisy green switch razer keyboard for some time then recently changed to a logitech mx keys, this was a lot better feeling and much quieter. But now I have the K5 Pro it's so much nicer sound and the feel of the keys and switches is nicer, it feels more solid. Having the option to pull the switches is also nice. Only downside is not having a dedicated dongle for wireless connection, but having the option to go wired makes up for it. Price comparison though with the logitech mx keys you are getting so much more for a lot less money.
